SECAM President

WELCOME MESSAGE FROM SECAM PRESIDENT

I wish to Welcome you to the SECAM website. The Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM) is the Association of African Bishops; promoting the Church’s role as an instrument of salvation and building the Church as a Family of God in Africa by fostering communion, collaboration and joint action among all the Episcopal Conferences of Africa and it's Islands.

The African Continent has welcomed and accepted that Jesus Christ is Lord and is firmly grounded in its mission to serve the ever-living God. As Bishops of Africa, we are proud of our achievements in building the faith.

We are also interested in the socio-political and economic wellbeing of the people on the continent. And hence as a body, we are happy to be involved in ensuring a peaceful continent where the people live in Harmony with each other and have the sound mind to worship God.

Website provides you, our dear guest, an opportunity to know more about us. Feel free to navigate the site and send us relevant feedback.

God bless you.
